SIA BLC is a freight forwarding company based in Riga. We arrange multimodal shipments from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan: by rail to the ports of Riga, Ventspils, Liepāja and Klaipėda, and onward by sea to any country in the world.

One operator is responsible for the cargo along the entire route. We plan the rail, port and sea legs together, aligning vessel schedules with the arrival of rail consignments.

How a shipment is organised

  1. Enquiry

    You send the cargo details: commodity, volume, departure station, destination port or country and preferred timing.

  2. Quotation

    We prepare a commercial offer covering the rail, port and sea legs.

  3. Loading and dispatch

    We prepare the documents, arrange rolling stock and monitor dispatch.

  4. Port transshipment

    We receive the cargo at the port, arrange storage and loading onto the vessel.

  5. Sea delivery

    We follow the voyage to the destination port and hand the document set to the consignee.
